Since we are on the topics of engagements and weddings I thought I would share a link to a really neat website that I discovered. The web page is called: "Young Ladies Christian Fellowship" and it has different topics on their webpage including a page devoted to telling the love stories of Christian couples, of their courtship and marriage. It is always encouraging to read or hear of another christian young person and how God worked in their life to bring them and their spouse together. On one of those stories I found a beautiful poem that I am going to put on this post. It says:
Lord, let me be his sunshine when the skies are dark and gray,
Let me be his comfort when he's had a long, hard day.

Let me be submissive when the rest on earth are bold.
Lord, let me be her fortress in the face of every storm.

Weddings are wonderful, but it is just as wonderful (okay, even more wonderful) to spend that same amount of time and planning to surprise your sweetheart after you've been married for 16 years.
Romance doesn't die, unless you let it.
That is awesome! I've been reading and thinking about how much time and effort we put into the wedding day itself, when if that much effort were put into the relationship, what a beautiful picture of love that would be! I wonder how many marriages would last?
